Terms and conditions

The owner and operator of this site is Melissa Squire (ABN: 98341749962) trading as Honey Bee Books ("Honey Bee Books"). By purchasing products from Honey Bee Books through our online shop the purchaser (“Customer”), agrees to the following terms and conditions of sale.
Ordering
All orders for products sold by Honey Bee Books are made via our online store: .
Shipping
Honey Bee Books will send the products to the Customer as soon as practicable after we receives payment for the products. Honey Bee Books ships using Australia Post and will always prove a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your shipment. Honey Bee Books endeavours to post your order within 2 days of receiving it.We have implemented a $10.00 flat fee for shipping on all orders. This decision helps us cover the rising costs for small businesses, ensuring that your orders arrive safely and on time. By standardising the shipping fee, we can maintain our commitment to fair pricing and transparency. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.Honey Bee Books only ships within Australia. If you are an international customer, please reach out via our contact form and we can discuss shipping options with you.
Delays in Delivery
The Customer agrees not to hold Honey Bee Books liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated timeframe.
Products sent to Incorrect Address
  • If the Customer does not receive the products purchased within 30 days of the date of purchase, Honey Bee Books shall not be liable to the Customer for those products unless the Customer notifies Honey Bee Books within 30 days of the date of purchase. If the product was not received because it was sent by Honey Bee Books to the incorrect address in error, then Honey Bee Bools shall be responsible for resending or replacement of the product or provide a full refund for the price of the product. If the product was not received by the Customer because the Customer provided the incorrect address or insufficient address information then:
  • if the product is returned to Honey Bee Books, Honey Bee Books will resend the product to the Customer, provided the Customer pays the additional cost of postage for resending.
  • if the product is not returned to Honey Bee Books, then Honey Bee Books will have no further responsibility.
Defective products
If the Customer purchases a defective product from Honey Bee Books, the Customer must contact Honey Bee Books with proof of purchase for the product and a brief email which includes the Customer’s details and identifies the defect in the product. Please contact Honey Bee Books via our Contact Form or email hello@honeybeebooks.com.au If the product is defective, Honey Bee Books will either replace the product or provide a refund of the price for the defective product. In no case shall the maximum liability of Honey Bee Books exceed the price of the product in respect to the claim. When purchasing Preloved books, the Customer is buying the product as is. Honey Bee Books will endeavour to describe the preloved product accurately. Returns will not be accepted defects that were clearly outlined and photographed as part of the product listing. Returns will only be accepted when a defect was not included in the product listing. More information can be found at A guide to Conditions for preloved books.
Stock availablity
If the customer pays for a product which Honey Bee Books cannot supply, Honey Bee Books will refund the price of that product to the Customer.
Limitation of Liability
Honey Bee Books shall not be liable to the Customer for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the purchase or use of products which the Customer purchases through the Honey Bee Books website. Honey Bee Books shall not be liable to the Customer for refunding, replacing or exchanging products which the Customer purchases through Honey Bee Books website other than set out in these terms and conditions.
Intellectual property
The Customer agrees not to modify or alter the content of the website in any way.
Site access
Honey Bee Books grants the Customer permission to access, view and download the content appearing on this site, for personal, non-commercial use only.
Communications
By subscribing to Honey Bee Books mailing list, the Customer consents to receiving electronic communications from Honey Bee Books. The Customer’s personal details will not be sold or leased to any third party. For more information please see our Privacy Policy.
